Podcast: Materials can drive the circular economy

Episode two of ESG Out Loud's sector special takes a deep dive into materials

ESG Clarity‘s sector special series of ESG Out Loud takes a deep dive into each sector from an ESG perspective. Every other month we speak to an investment industry commentator and someone from the sector in question to gain insight into the ESG credentials, challenges and progress of that sector.

This month we’re talking materials. In this episode we speak to Susana Coutinho, research director at MainStreet Partners, about the governance issues with the sector but also the potential for harmful materials to be used as inputs for other sectors.

We’re then joined by UBQ Materials co-CEO Albert Douer, who shares insights from working in the sector itself and what investors should look out for.

We’ll be following up with more insight into the materials sector soon.
